Description
One of the most fun cars you can drive on the public roads without fear of loosing your license. This car has been setup for maximum fun! The dreaded torque dip tuned out and suspension tuned for maximum grip. No expense has been spared to keep this car in the best condition possible, bearing in mind I have done all the service work myself (I've kept a comprehensive account of the servicing) and then taken it to GT86 specialist's Tuning Developments to do the complicated stuff. Cleaned every weekend with ceramic car wash, polished and waxed on top of that at least twice a year. I have averaged 12000 miles per year since my ownership (mainly motorway, and always kept to 70mph) and it's never missed a beat. Always filled up with Texaco Supreme 97 octane fuel (tuned for this fuel specifically) and redex added every tank. Surprisingly good MPG too averaging 37mpg in summer and 32mpg in winter on my daily commute. Drives perfectly! Genuine reason for sale, want to upgrade to the GR86. Mileage will rise as it's my daily driver.
Upgrades and recent work carried out
- serviced every 3000-10000 miles mostly (3000-5000) with high quality Millers Oils EE Performance 0w-20 Fully Synthetic Engine Oil. Oil filter changed every time. Most recent service 1000 miles ago
- Brakes upgraded to EBC Green Stuff pads and EBC discs 5000 miles ago
- Matching set of Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres still with loads of tread.
- Front offside wheel bearing replaced (pointlessly, the noise turned out to be tyre noise, I was just hyper focusing on it!)
- Gearbox and rear diff oil changed by myself after I purchased the car 2.5 years ago (due again around 3 year mark)
- Coolant flushed and replaced with Subaru extra long lift coolant 15k miles/18 months ago
- Brake fluid flushed changed 15k miles/ 18 months ago
- Spark plugs changed by previous owner at 23k miles (next one due at 83k miles)
- Original Toyota alloys powder coated in black.
- Vland Rear LED light assembly
- Eibach Pro Kit lowering springs (20mm drop from standard)
- Eibach wheel spacers, 20mm on front, 25mm on the back.
- White line adjustable droplinks front and rear.
- Adjustable LCA's on rear
- Fast road suspension setup by Tuning Developments (GT86 specialist)
- N/A tuning package by Tuning Developments with Equal Length Headers, ecutek suite with 4 changeable drive modes including rev matching and flat foot shifting. The car now shows 214bhp at the flywheel.
