I am the second owner of this SL400, and have owned it for the last 4 years. It is not yet 10 years old and has only done 27,000 miles (less than 3,000 per year) and as it has been serviced fully by Mercedes every year, it is in superb condition. I am simply selling it as I have ordered another car. The 3 litre twin turbo V6 is a great engine, it makes 362 bhp which means it can do 0-60 in 4.9 seconds, yet when driven at a comfortable cruise speed it is very smooth and surprisingly economical. Driven with the roof up it feels like a conventional coupe, yet with the roof down and the windows and draft excluder raised it is really comfortable and free of wind. I have removed the private number plate (E5 JRH) and put back the original registration plates (KU66 HKL) to sell it.
