Volvo V70 D4 - Great Family Car, Strong Engine, Tow Bar Reluctantly selling our Volvo V70, which has been a brilliant and reliable family car for us over the years. It's been used regularly for long trips, including drives down to Devon and even journeys to the Alps, and has always been comfortable, spacious, and dependable. It's powered by the strong and economical D4 engine, which pulls well and still drives nicely. The clutch is in good condition, and the car feels solid on the road. The interior is clean and comfortable, making it ideal for families or anyone needing a practical estate. The car has had plenty of maintenance, including a recent timing belt replacement, so that's a big job already taken care of. It also comes with a tow bar, perfect for towing or trips away. It has recently developed an intermittent issue, likely related to the turbo (possibly sticky vanes), which can cause it to occasionally go into limp mode. The fault can be cleared with a code reader and the car drives normally again, so it may be a straightforward fix. We've decided to upgrade to an automatic, which is the only reason for sale.
