I'm selling my MR2 roadster after 10 years and 19,000 miles of summer-only driving. It's been kept under-cover and not driven on wet roads. I've maintained it well, with fully synthetic oil changes at 98687, 104516, 109103, 111325 and 116589 miles during my ownership since 2016. It has just had a new hood fitted (March 2026) and key maintenance during my ownership has included changing the gearbox/differential fluid twice with Redline MT-90, new sparkplugs, valve cover gasket, chain tensioner 'O' ring, and auxiliary belt. The original cloth seats have been replaced with black leather facelift seats which are in excellent condition, as shown in the photos. The rear chassis cross member is in good, solid condition (as shown in photo) and the precatalytic converters are undamaged. The engine does not consume any oil between changes - it has always been well maintained and is not an oil burner. It has had both rear brake callipers and the handbrake cables replaced in recent years and, following an advisory at the last MOT, both front lower control arms have been replaced. It is in very good overall condition, although not perfect, with age-related marks including a small 'ding' on the rear offside wing and a small blemish on the front bumper (both pictured). The wheels could also do with a refurbishment. It's a fabulous car to drive and they don't make them like this anymore. There really is something special about a small mid-engined car - it's light, agile and sure-footed, it has always been completely reliable and I will miss it when it's gone.
