This is the 1.8i S fitted with the factory Sports Suspension package, including ABS, Torsen limited slip differential, Bilstein dampers and a front strut brace, giving it the sharper driving experience these cars are known for. This is a genuinely good example. I spent a long time searching to find the right car and this one has certainly lived up to expectations. Owned by an engineer, it has been maintained with no expense spared and has been kept in dry storage and only used in summer. The car has full service history with stacks of paperwork and has had yearly oil changes regardless of mileage. Anyone who knows these cars will know it is not easy to find one that is not suffering from rot, which is exactly why I took my time to find the right example in the first place. This car has been absolutely faultless during my ownership. It comes with the original factory hard top, supplied with a wheeled storage stand, as well as the original factory tonneau cover. The car also comes with three keys, which is increasingly rare to find. Condition is excellent throughout. The bodywork and paint present very well, the black cloth interior is clean and tidy, and the soft top is in excellent condition. Mechanically the car has been faultless throughout my ownership and drives exactly as it should. It is booked in for MOT next week and will be sold with 12 months MOT.
