Here's a fun car for the summer! It's a 1976 Volkswagen Beetle 1303S, finished in dark blue with stylish alloy wheels and a full length opening sunroof. This iconic Beetle has a huge amount of history, going right back to the 1970s. The more recent history, from the 21st century, shows that the car has had a lot of time and money invested in it. There are photos detailing a full body-off restoration, plus countless receipts for work and parts. The 1.6-litre engine is in excellent condition, as is the four-speed gearbox, and the little Beetle is a joy to drive. It has an MoT until January 2027. This is a car we took in part-exchange and it's not up to our usual retail standards, so we are selling it as-is. The paintwork is bubbling in a few places, the driver's seat base is damaged, the dash is cracked and the odometer is stuck. There a few spare parts included. This Volkswagen Beetle is a car you could jump into and enjoy, without doing anything to it. Put a surfboard on the roof, slide back the sunroof and head to the beach! Or, it would be a good starting point to improve to the next level.
