Having recently bought this privately from Ascot, I am the 5th owner and use this car to commute to the train station and back a few times a week. I bought it due to the previous owner having spent a considerable amount of money to replace the following: - Water pump @95k miles - Timing belt @95k miles - Clutch @97k miles - Brake shoes @97k miles It was last service (major service) at 108K miles Since my ownership @109k miles, I have done the following: - Replaced battery with Halfords non start stop battery. - Undergone an interior valet. - Purchased new carpet mats. - Replaced number plates front and back. - Replaced old wipers with new Bosch set. Mechanically, the car drives fine, goes forwards and backwards with no issues. The big bills (timing belt, water pump and clutch) have all been paid and the car reliably starts up and drives when required. Cosmetically, I would class it as average. The main lowlights are: - Lacquer peel on the roof. - Bumper scuff rear passenger side. - Driver side door has been repainted and appears brighter than other panels. - Usual stone chips and bodywork issues associated with a car approaching 10 years old. I have proof of invoices for the timing belt, water pump, clutch and battery but no early service history although I am sure any independent VW specialist would be able to get those. Car comes with 2 keys and alloy wheel locking nut. MOT is due in October. Car was last serviced at 108k miles. No erroneous dashboard lights when starting from cold. Previously car history shows no discrepancies with mileage nor outstanding finance (I can supply this if need be). Tax is 20 per year. ** STRICTLY NO OFFERS PLEASE**
