2014 Blue Volkswagen Golf 1.4 ACT Automatic (DSG) with NEW mechatronics unit. 88k miles. This is my daily car, mileage will increase until sold. This car has served me well in the 1 and a bit years that I have owned it. This is a Japanese import. It has been well looked after, and it's time to move it on to a new home. In no rush to sell. Some features listed below: Mechatronics unit replaced at approx 75k miles at a 4 figure cost. Lifetime warranty Adaptive Cruise control Lane keep assist Dynamic chassis control Reversing camera Air conditioning Active Cylinder Technology (shuts off 2 cylinders when cruising to save fuel, very economical, 43+ mpg is a normal occurrence) Stop/Start system Automatic led headlights, auto levelling Automatic wipers Bluetooth connectivity Alcantara seats Rear tints Electric folding and heated mirrors Comfort entry (all windows can be opened or closed via the key) 2 keys 5 drive modes: Comfort, Eco, Normal, Sport, Individual Serviced on time every year, always with Ceratec (oil additive) for added engine wear protection. Drives very smooth, no complaints at all. Last major service in September 2025 including a full engine flush, new spark plugs, cabin filter. Good tread on all tyres. MOT until September 2026. A couple of negative points: 1. Minor dent on the front passenger side wing, and small chip on the front bumper. Both can be seen in the picture. Van bumped into the car. Bumper needs touch up paint, and the wing can be knocked back out or replaced. Hardly noticeable anyway, which is why I have not repaired myself. Approx 200 for a replacement. No insurance category, paperwork is all clean. 2. Everything works as it should, however the infotainment system needs an update. This is a job for someone more technical than me. Requires a software download and an SD card. The sound cuts out when the car is started, but it's not a problem as it takes 15 seconds / 5 buttons to bring it back. Sound is back by the time I put my seatbelt on. Not really an issue at all, but worth pointing out in the spirit of honesty. Car can be viewed in Slough or Basingstoke.
