Description

I have owned this car for just over 3 years and just don't get the use out of it. The car is kept in the garage with a cover and on a ctech trickle charger all the time not in use. It has had a full engine rebuild from Hartec. The rebuild was carried out in march 2020 at 86553 miles. Cost of this rebuild is shown in the history photos. It had any oil and filter change 2000 miles after the engine was done, by Hartec. I also had a service done at 92000 miles with Miller Nanotec oil which is the oil. The coolant hoses were changed with a complete front end coolant kit supplied by design 911 in October 2022 at 91071 miles. I have replaced the climate control rockers and head unit dials with OEM buttons from Porsche. New Bosch battery fitted in September 2023 and 4 new tyres in march 2023 at 92355 miles. The rear section of the exhaust was replaced with an aftermarket sports exhaust prior to my owner ship. I did have an engine light come on a few times which was diagnosed to be lambda sensor reading. I had all four sensors replaced with OEM Bosch sensors but not 100% sure if that is what triggered the light. The garage that installed the sensors said it's more likely the sports exhaust is causing the issue as changing the mix ratio. I haven't had the light come on since but also haven't done loads of miles. The garage said I could get it coded to allow the new exhaust but I never went down this route. The car has quite a bit of history which is in an A4 binder along with service stamps in the service book (see photos) 9 previous owners on log book but does seem to have been looked after by its owners. Overall the car is in very nice condition for a 21 year old car but does have some minor marks. Mainly stone chips to the front and bonnet. Also a mark near the near side air intake (see photos) and a small dint on the rear bumper. Also noticed that the offside front fog had started to deteriorate inside. Only noticed this when taking the photos. The headlights could do with a polish or possibly refurbishing which I never got around to. There is also a small stone chip on the windscreen. The drivers seat bolster has a bit of wear but really only to the colouring of the leather which I'm sure would be easily tidied up with some black leather dye. Both keys have had the shells replaced with the newer type black key. Also has the plastic valet type key. Cheaper Tax than later 987's I have always used shell V Power 99 RON fuel
