Description
Reluctant sale of what has genuinely been the best car I've owned. Only selling due to moving onto a new vehicle through a work scheme.
This is not your average Shogun Sport it's had all the known/common issues already addressed, with 4,000 spent in the last 3 months, making it a properly sorted example.
If you know these cars, you'll know this work is exactly what buyers end up paying for.
Key Highlights
Rare towbar fitted (nigh on impossible to source and very sought after on these very capable tow vehicles)
5,000+ recent work completed
All major/common Shogun Sport issues already sorted
Drives exactly as it should - strong, smooth, and solid
Genuine reason for sale - not being used to its capability
Recent Work
Fuel tank, lines, sender & filler replaced
Stainless exhaust system
Difficult to access rear brake pipes replaced
Rear drop links replaced
Rear caliper sliders serviced/replaced
New handbrake
Full service completed
This is the big-ticket reliability work these cars are known for already done.
The air con pipes were checked by mitsibushi last year and they had no concerns, I ensured to direct them to the common failure point.
Condition
Very good overall condition for age and mileage
Minor cosmetic marks as expected
Small indentation on drivers door sill from previous owner, looks like they closed the door on something potentially the seatbelt (purely cosmetic, never noticeable in day-to-day use)
One small mark on the rear offside alloy
Both issues photographed, honest sale
Ownership Notes
I originally bought this with plans for trips, roof tents etc but as you can see I never even got as far as a roof rack. I also intended to get my trailer license but never got to any towing either. In reality, it's just been used for a short commute. It's an incredibly capable vehicle that deserves to be used properly, whether that's towing, travelling, or family adventures.
Why This One
Most Shogun Sports on the market will need this work done this one already has.
It's ready to go.
