Here is my 1971 VW Beetle Ive owned Bumblebee_beetle71 bought in 2019. Ive spent alot on it although all the welding was done. I fitted New Parts. 1600 Barrel and piston kit. New pic Carburettor Front disc conversion with dropped spindles. New bumpers Full engine rebuild with all new gaskets I painted it original Texas Yellow in 2020 Fitted RX8 Seats in the front New carpet fitted. Custom mats New locks Porsche style wheels with centre caps. Quick shift gear selector Fire extinguisher New Empi Exhaust K tubes fitted so no fumes in car. Not Original heaters. No heater channels all Welded closed. Electric heater. Not great but work, not that I use them much, only used car in summer. Loads of receipts ive kept. For personal history. MOT exempt TAX exempt Insurance was 75 a year fully Comp Floor is good just been stone chipped Paint is ok, after 6 years I was going to paint it again but ill let it go as it is. Its not mint.
