First registered & pre delivery inspected by Dick Lovett, Swindon 04.04.1989. They continued to maintain it through to 1997, when it moved over to an independent and then back to dealer network with most recent service in December 25 with Glasgow OPC, when they also fitted a new clutch. Comes direct from long term ownership of almost nine years, forming part of a collection with virtually no use in this time, however, importantly stored in a temp controlled environment. Fresh to me from official Porsche Centre body shop where it received a complete paint restoration at 12000 cost with no corners cut. As such its in as new cosmetic condition. Recently serviced by same dealer, a new MOT will be carried out. The decision to restore the body was to eliminate chips and imperfections collected over the cars life as it was largely on its original paint. 100 % hpi clear. I have the original red service book with owners manual and leather wallet with three original factory keys. A large box file thick with folders of bills. Specification - Baltic Blue - Linen Leatherette with Leather Inlays & Leather Seats - Flag Mirrors - Genuine Cup alloys - LSD - Electric sunroof - Cruise - Full electric pack The GT Masterpiece This is the second GT I have had through my hands in the last few months, they don't come often, and I personally owned one 17 years ago and kept it 5 years, so I know the model as a manual variant well, and its a sports GT that requires no introduction. Arguably the best GT car to roll out of Stuttgart for many reasons, its not so much a car as more a system. Summary This is a GT masterclass, simply does not get better. This ultimate Porsche will afford its owner the security of knowing they own a historic competent and dependable high speed tourer and a finely hand built precision instrument, a car that will quarter Europe in a day and be ready to go again. The engine and gearbox are utterly fantastic. The dog leg racing manual gearbox brings the big motor into play, slotting and slurring through the box is a delight of its own and places the driver firmly in command of the mighty V8 with accompanied soundtrack.
