Description

Porsche 911 (993) Carrera Coupe The Porsche 993 represents the end of an era - the final evolution of the air-cooled 911. These cars come from a period at Porsche where build quality was on another level compared to today. Increasingly sought after, the 993 offers a unique blend of classic feel and usability, and is now firmly established as one of the most collectible generations of 911. This 1994 Carrera Coupe is a genuinely exceptional example, presented in outstanding condition throughout and supported by an incredibly comprehensive and well-documented history. Supplied new to the UK, the car is finished in Zenith Blue Metallic (L39V) - a rare and highly desirable period colour that suits the 993 beautifully. From 2017 through to 2024, the car was maintained by Porsche Centre Cardiff, with no fewer than 21 invoices on file covering servicing, parts and associated works. These invoices represent just a portion of a much larger history file, clearly demonstrating consistent and significant investment over many years. In 2017, the car benefitted from a full body restoration carried out by a respected specialist in Swansea. The quality of the work is excellent, and the car presents today to a very high standard throughout. The interior was retrimmed in 2018, including front and rear seats, door cards, centre console, rear cockpit trim, gear lever and a full carpet set. The quality of the work is exceptionally high and elevates the interior to something very special. More recently, the car has seen extensive mechanical investment, particularly within the suspension. The front suspension is new, and the car drives exactly as a properly sorted 993 should. The car now sits on an upgraded set of Porsche hollow-spoke Technology wheels, recently refurbished, which give the car an attractive and modern look while remaining true to the Porsche aesthetic. Factory specification highlights include: 6-speed manual gearbox, electric front seats, air conditioning, sunroof, soft ruffled leather interior & limited slip differential. The radio head unit has also been replaced to a Porsche DAB unit with Bluetooth. The overriding impression is of a car that has been cared for without compromise. The level of investment in both cosmetic and mechanical areas is clear, and it shows in every aspect of the car. Examples of this quality are increasingly hard to find - particularly those with this level of restoration, history and presentation. Viewing by appointment.
