Description

Genuine reason for sale as getting a bigger car for family use. Extremely well looked after car. The body work is still very good as is the paint. Anything that has ever needed doing has been done. It has been very reliable in the 5 years I have owned it. The car that has excellent MPG and is cheap to run. Good passenger and boot space. These cars are known to be very reliable as are the engines. Parts are cheap for repairs should they be needed. Below have all been done during my ownership Alternator belt New rear springs Rear antiroll bar bushes Front discs and pads Front drop links (Apr '25) Front track rod ends (Apr '25) Front wishbones ('25) New EGR valve (Jan '26) New air intake pipe (Jan '26) Recent new rear tyres and always good quality and rating tyres used. It has and excellent history and serviced every year with new oil, oil filter, air filters (intake and cabin), sump plug and fuel filter. It uses no oil between services and the engine runs smooth and pulls well. Gearbox is tight and has no issues. The car has never let us down and drives very well. We have take it on many long trips including driving to Switzerland and France camping. Car comes with a full set of rubber mats and a boot liner which is particularly helpful for keeping things clean and can be wiped off. It is only 35 a year to tax and cheap on fuel, 55-60mpg min. A few minor marks on the paintwork. There is one dent in the rear drivers side as shown but this was done when the previous over had the car and someone backed into it in a car park. Couple of small advisories on MOT. One is the rear suspension beam and is only surface rust. This is common on most cars especially an older one. None of the beam is week and if fussy it could be wire brushed and painted. The second is surface corrosion on the rear passenger spring. Again only surface rust. These springs were actually brand new in December 2022. I have a photo of both areas on the MOT and they garage explained the tests are particularly specific now which is why these two things have to be listed as an advisory. They said there is no immediate need to get them done. Would not be getting rid of the car if we did not need something bigger because it has been so reliable. Proof of insurance required for a test drive or I can take you for a drive. Have been as honest as I can be but happy to ask any further questions you may have. Car is in Cheltenham about 5 minutes drive (20 mins walk) from the train station.
