I have had my lovely Spitfire since 1997 and it has always been housed in a dry garage. It is generally in very good condition and runs well. There are a few minor rust points notably in the boot lid. The chassis is sound and the underside is undersealed. The seats are a little soft. The speedo shows 10600 miles but it had a younger replacement engine fitted within the last 10000 miles. The car has the benefits of overdrive, electric fan, oil cooler, roll over bar, walnut veneer dash, twin SU carbs, tonneau cover and soft top. Tax and MOT exempt. Various spare parts including cylinder head, polished manifold, starter motor, radiator, original workshop manual, Haynes manual. The car has not been on the road for about 6 years and is currently on SORN.
