Changing life circumstances forces very reluctant sale of my much loved Porsche after 8 years ownership. The car has been kept garaged throughout that time and used for summer days out or for car shows. Generally, she's seen very little use in wet weather and has been very seldom used in winter (other than to give her an occasional run). Essentially, I've treated her like a classic car (only 200 pounds per year insurance!), so she's been well looked after and is polished regularly and is kept on a CTEK charger to maintain the battery health. In my care she's had a small fortune spent on her and prior to my ownership had already had an uprated IMS bearing fitted along with a fresh RMS bearing and a new clutch. I have service history receipts for almost 23,000 pounds to prove it! Other than all of the regular normal servicing work, all of which has been done by a Porsche specialist, here is a list of other work that's been done, which shows the bills going forwards on maintenance should now be low: Oil analysis performed at 72k miles found no evidence of engine wear (I have the report available) Alloys reconditioned with a ceramic coating to protect the fresh paint at 71k miles and they still look mint. Water pump and thermostat both changed at 70k miles as a precautionary measure. Front suspension arms and roll bar bushes changed at 70k miles Rear lower control arms, rear track arms and roll bar drop links all changed at 67k miles Coilovers fitted 67k miles, currently set up for comfortable road use Complete exhaust system changed with Dansk system including sports cats and stainless steel headers, all fitted at 67k miles. Sounds way better than the standard system and is epic above 5000rpm. Aircon condensers and pipework all replaced at 67k miles. The aircon is good. 987 gear selector fitted for improved action. All 4 quarters repainted in 2019 All 6 ignition coil packs replaced at 66k miles All 4 brake discs changed with new pads at 66k miles IMS upgraded, RMS changed and fresh clutch fitted at 53k miles These cars are now starting to gradually go up in value, so now is a great time to be buying one.
