Description

2006 Volkswagen Golf 1.6 SE FSI 5-door Automatic, Grey, 122k miles. ULEZ compliant. Fresh MOT until 22 April 2027 (just done, 375 days left). HPI clear. Just had a proper workshop visit, all paid for and done: - Exhaust flexi replaced - O2 sensor replaced - Engine oil and oil filter - Rear brake discs x2 - Rear brake pads - Drop links x2 - Front tyres x2 (plus disposal, fitting and balancing) That is a big chunk of the usual "things that go wrong on a 15-20 year old Golf" list already sorted, so the next owner is not walking into hidden bills. Honest bit, because I would rather you know before you drive down: There is a very small oil weep at the front listed as an advisory on the MOT (marked "not excessive"). I had the garage look at it during the service and they told me straight it is not worth fixing, the leak is tiny. I have been driving the car for a full year with it and nothing has changed, the oil level stays normal between services. Priced in, not hidden. There are also a few scratches on the doors and on the rear that you can see clearly. I have not touched them up, I would rather price them in than try to cover them up. Easy fix for anyone who wants to tidy the car, or just drive it as is. Everything else on the latest MOT is clean, only the small oil weep and a "brake disc worn but not excessively" note on the front, which is normal for the mileage. Priced fairly against other 2005-2007 Golf autos on the site, most of which do not have a fresh MOT or a fresh service. First to view will probably buy. Cash or bank transfer on collection. Test drive welcome, bring a mechanic if you want one. Any questions just message me.
