Lovely VW Golf 1.4 bought in November 24 as a first car for my son. One previous owner. He learned to drive in it and has been using it daily since. The first car market is really tough and expensive but this car has been ideal as the low-ish horsepower makes it cheap to insure. The car has a partial service history, when I bought it from a trader in Reading I was told it had been a lady owner from new with the service book stamped from 2011-2018. There is not much beyond this, I have done two oil and filter change services myself since then, the latest in November 25. In the time we've had the car we have had a coolant leak fixed, anti roll bar ball joint and all of the brake discs and pads replaced. The MOT history will reflect this, the only advisory being a small stone chip that has been there for some time. The car has a Pioneer media system that gives Apple CarPlay, DAB and hands free phone calling. We have retained the original radio if the buyer wants it. This is not an immaculate car but overall it is in good condition and looks great. There is a small dent in the top of the offside front wing, it's in the photos. There are a couple of areas of paint where it has lost its shine but you need to look closely to find them - this was all there when I bought it and has not got any worse. The interior is nice, some small scratches by the internal driver's door handle that look like the work of an old lady's hand wearing diamond rings. There it a bit of wear to the gear knob but it's minimal. I think this car will sell quickly as I remember how long and hard I had to look for an affordable, insurable but nice car.
