Description

1999 Jaguar XKR 100 - 58,500 Miles | Exceptional, Well-Maintained Example Reluctantly offered for sale due to a growing family, my beautiful 1999 Jaguar XKR 100 with only 58,500 miles covered. It is a genuine, well-cared-for example that has been thoughtfully maintained, with attention paid not just to appearance but to the long-term health of the car. The bodywork remains very smart, with only minor age-related marks that are entirely in keeping with a vehicle of this age and do nothing to detract from its overall presence. Importantly, the undercarriage is clean, solid, and has been treated to prevent corrosion for years to come. The wheel arches, well-known areas of concern on these cars have been professionally repaired where required and carefully protected, which is ultimately what matters most with these. Approximately 4,000 pounds has been invested over the past 3-4 years in maintenance and preventative work, ensuring that the typical XKR issues have been properly addressed. This includes: Steering rack Power steering pump Timing chain tensioners Supercharger refurbished Water pump, hoses, seals and gaskets Rust prevention treatment to underside Wheel arch corrosion repair and protection New windscreen New headlining Replacement door handles During my ownership, the car has covered only around 5,000 miles and has been stored in a friend's garage over winter months, helping preserve its condition. It was last serviced in July 2025 and has driven just 1,500 miles since. The car is accompanied by an extensive and impressive service history, including the original Jaguar Daimler purchase invoice and a substantial leather-bound file containing MOTs, receipts, and other fascinating documentation. It all adds genuine provenance and reflects how well the car has been looked after throughout its life. Inside, the cabin remains a refined and comfortable place to be. There is some light wear to the driver's seat, in keeping with age, which I have chosen to leave as-is to retain the car's originality and character. As a nice finishing touch, the car comes with a number of charming original extras, including Jaguar XKR glasses with their presentation box, a leather-bound Jaguar map book covering the UK and Europe, and five sets of keys including original valet keys. This is an honest example with all the right work completed offering both peace of mind and enjoyment. A proper gentleman's grand tourer. I'm gonna miss her. Serious enquiries welcome.
