March 2004 R230 SL55 AMG Ordered new to Canary Wharf Mercedes in the very rare Tealite blue, with a grey two tone interior; one can imagine the stockbroker cruising late nights in London with the top down. In this period the car was serviced by Mercedes, before ultimately migrating to Surrey. The car was then with its 3rd owner just shy of 4 years, and its 4th owner 9 years. The car was then traded on, and purportedly bought by a farmer in Cheshire for use on special occasions. Bought by Sira.collector on instagram last summer, I then acquired it through my close friend. In my ownership I have put 10k miles on it, including a road trip to Lake Como and around the highlands of Scotland. In between it has been my summer daily driver. Since, over winter, it has been in my garage. In my ownership it has had: * 2 new front tyres and benefits from 2 brand new rear tyres (Michelin PS3+) * New genuine Mercedes air con compressor * 3 oil changes (one when buying, one after road trip, one at recent service) * Just had A service completed by reputable MB specialist. * Prev had full ceramic coating 12 months ago * 12 months MOT prior to sale * 2 new OEM batteries The car has all the usual bits: * Heated, massage, memory seats * Cruise control * ABC suspension in full working order * Wind deflector * 2 keys * All manuals and FSH What needs attention: * Small paint defect to one mirror and boot lid, otherwise paint is perfect. * Wheels could have a refurb to be perfect * Plastic hinged trim for roof broken on deck lid (very common) I have owned the car 12 months almost to the day and I am now ready for a new toy for this summer, so sadly needs to be moved on as I only have the one garage.
