I've owned this car for several years and genuinely enjoyed every mile. It's one of those cars that just gets better the more time you spend with it. The 4.0 V8 is the standout. It's remarkably smooth almost unnervingly so at low speed, where it just wafts along barely above idle with no vibration, no harshness, nothing. On a motorway it's in its absolute element settled, quiet, completely unruffled. You arrive after a long drive feeling less tired than when you set off, which I think says everything about what Jaguar got right with this generation. There's proper pace there too when you ask for it, but it's never uncouth. It just delivers. The condition speaks for itself. The Sapphire Blue is deep and striking in any light, and yes, it does turn heads I've had more unsolicited compliments on this car than anything else I've owned. Inside, the oatmeal leather and walnut are exactly as you'd hope no wear, no fade, no sagging headliner (it's been replaced). It presents exceptionally well for a car of any age, let alone one approaching thirty. I've maintained this car properly throughout because it deserved it. New tyres, new discs, pads and brake hoses, new throttle body, new battery, new passenger seatbelt, wax undersealed, new ball joints, both key fobs with car and working, recently serviced.
