RARE MANUAL XC90 D5! If you're looking for one of the few remaining 6-speed manual 2009 Volvo XC90 Active AWD D5s, this is it. Most came as automatics proper manual examples like this are hard to find. Mechanically well sorted In March 2026 it had a major spent 1,200 on an engine refresh: swirl flaps and arm replaced (addressing a common D5 issue), inlet manifold gasket, injector seals, full DPF carbon clean + regeneration, and 5 new glow plugs. Over the last few years more than 6,500 has been spent, including: Timing belt kit, water pump, auxiliary belt, tensioner & power steering pump (at 139,248 miles) Steering rack and front brakes Alternator, rear brakes, handbrake cable, full services and more. The 2.4 D5 pulls strongly, the manual 'box is smooth and precise, and the AWD gives great grip in all conditions. Cosmetics It's a 16-year-old car with honest wear: dent in the bonnet, some age-related marks on the grey paintwork, and a couple of small tears in the driver's seat. All purely cosmetic the car drives well mechanically. Back passenger window doesn't lower, makes the noise but only goes down slightly on one side suggesting it isn't lined up but I haven't gotten around to checking (I tried resetting the window position). Because of the Car play, the parking position beeping no longer works so I've been parking the old fashioned way with my mirrors. Extras Android Auto / CarPlay system fitted Turbo resonator pipe replaced (both upper and lower) Driver's A-pillar trim replaced Spare parts included: manual seat lift mechanism, turbo resonator delete pipe, boot latch repair part.
