Description
2008 BMW 123d M Sport (204 bhp) | Rare Twin-Turbo | Thousands Spent on Recent Maintenance
Overview
For sale is my stunning 2008 (08) BMW 123d M Sport 5-door hatchback. Finished in metallic black with a full black leather interior, this car combines serious performance with excellent fuel economy. With only 95,000 genuine miles on the clock, it has been driven on average just over 5,000 miles a year.
This is the highly sought-after twin-turbo diesel model offering significantly more power and torque than the standard 120d, while still returning great MPG.
Exceptional Recent Maintenance (Last 3 Months)
I have spared absolutely no expense maintaining this car, spending well over 1,500 in parts alone over the last 90 days to ensure it drives flawlessly.
Recent mechanical work includes:
-Complete Transmission Refresh: Brand new LUK Clutch Kit and Dual Mass Flywheel (DMF).
-Engine & Belts: New Crankshaft Pulley (Vibration Damper), Auxiliary Belt, and Tensioner Pulley.
-Drivetrain: Full prop shaft refresh including new flex disc/donut, mounting bearing, and coupling (drives perfectly tight with zero clunks or vibrations).
-Suspension & Braking: New rear gas shock absorbers and new rear brake hoses.
-Tyres: 2x Brand new Nereus 245/35/18 tyres on the rear.
-Miscellaneous: New breather pipe and brand new M Sport alloy wheel badges.
Modifications & Specs
The car is almost entirely stock with the exception of a Direnza Intake Induction Kit, which lets the twin-turbo engine breathe better and gives it a fantastic induction sound.
High factory specification includes:
-Heated front seats
-Parking sensors
-Full black leather M Sport seats (with adjustable side bolsters)
-M Sport aerodynamic body styling
-M Sport leather steering wheel and gear knob
-18-inch M Sport alloy wheels
-Dual-zone climate control & air conditioning
-Push-button start
Condition
The car is HPI clear and presents beautifully. To be completely honest, as an 18-year-old car, it is not 10/10 "showroom" condition. There are some minor scratches and age-related marks on the paintwork as to be expected with a black car of this age, but as you can see from the photos, it still has a fantastic shine and looks great on the road. The interior is very clean with only minor wear to the driver's seat bolster.
Summary
This is a rare opportunity to own a 123d that has already had all the "big" maintenance jobs completed, saving the new owner thousands in potential future garage bills.
