The VW California really is the best, built completely by VW, brilliantly designed. With pop-top, kitchen with hob, sink and fridge, four berths, spacious living area with swivel seats. This fully featured T5 California is in really good working condition. It's been recently serviced and has a new MOT. We regularly roam to France, Spain, Croatia and Italy. The engine, which is the big, low revving 2.5 ltr 174bhp 5 cylinder, has been completely rebuilt by an independent VW specialist, including new camshaft, bearings, seals, oil pump, water pump, flywheel, clutch, EGR valve, and turbocharger. It's covered 40,000 miles since the rebuild and runs very smoothly and economically. We've always had any running repairs done properly to keep it in good going order.
