Here for sale is my 2003 Land Rover defender td5 155,000 miles 12 months mot I have owned it for approximately 12 years Below is a list of work that it has had done on it everything stated below has had less than 30 miles since fitting - New LUK clutch and flywheel - New spigot bush - New clutch release arm and bearing - New rear main oil seal - New pipe heater feed - New transfer box output seal - New transfer box oil - New gearbox oil - New auxiliary belt - New handbrake cable - New injector wiring harness - New rocker gasket - New egr blank off kit fitted - New radiator - New core plugs (x2) - New alternator - New centre exhaust silencer - New front and rear prop shaft - New front and rear mud flaps - New floor matts (fitted after pictures) - Service In September the Chassis was completely stripped back, cleaned and painted with black chassis paint (I have done this twice in the time I have had it) this is a far more tidy job than coatingg everything with wax oil Both axles and radius arms have been painted with black anti rust paint. In my ownership (approximately 5-6 years ago and under 20,000 miles ago ) I rebuilt the axles, changed the swivels, changed fuel pressure regulator, fuel pump As anyone who knows these vehicles will understand, this level of preventative maintenance is crucial to keeping a Defender in strong mechanical condition as they age.The interior is nice and tidy for its age It currently has mud terrain tyres on it as it has done a small amount of miles each year This Defender has had significant investment to keep it in excellent working order. I am genuinely reluctant to sell, but a potential property purchase may force the sale. If it doesn't achieve what I believe it's worth, I'm more than happy to keep it.
