Description

2008 R8 V8 Manual 6 owners 58000 miles Magride suspension Harmon Kardon Audio Choice of red or black seats Lamborghini Gallardo wheels - OEM also available. Modstock exhaust modification with valve controller Recently serviced Both condensers and near side radiator replaced recently Oil cooler pipes replaced in 2022 New battery in 2023 I've owned this car since November 2023. The car had full Audi service history when I purchased it, and I have used Quattro-Tech during my ownership, an Audi specialist. When I bought the car it was slow to start - I fitted a new OEM battery and cleaned up all ground points, and it has since started perfectly. It also had an issue with struggling to start when already hot - a new fuel filter remedied this. The car starts and runs perfectly. I originally wanted a car with a red interior and struggled to find one, so after buying this car I fitted a pair of red seats. The original black seats are in good condition and I can fit whichever set the new owner chooses. In 2024 I got my hands on a set of OEM Lamborghini Gallardo Cassiopeia wheels - with Michelin Pilot Sport 4s tyres. Due to mileage covered these tyres have very little tread wear. I have the original wheels still - if the new owner would rather these were fitted - I would reduce the price by 500. The offside condenser started leaking air conditioning fluid late in 2025, so was replaced along with the offside radiator by Quattro-Tech. I'm selling the car as it mostly only gets used on weekends - I have used it for less than 4000 miles in almost 3 years - and due to a job change I need a new car suitable for a long commute. Bad bits: Being 18 years old there are a few paint chips, and a couple of small areas of corrosion bubbling under the paint. The wheels would also benefit from a refurb. One of the brake pad sensors has corroded - the sensors are integrated into the pads. The pads are all in very good condition, so it didn't seem economic to replace them all in order to fit new sensors. However, I have a full set of new pads which will come with the car should the owner wish to get them fitted. In the meantime, there is an intermittent "brake pads" warning when the car starts. AC currently leaking - Quattro-Tech have identified a leaking pipe to one of the condensers. I have factored this into the price. Should the car not sell in the next few weeks, the pipe will be replaced and the price increased accordingly.
