This is a lovely example of a supercharged XKR XK150 that is in lovely order inside and out. These XKRs have an excellent boot size and this one includes a spare wheel (often absent these days) and Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres, all in excellent condition. The alloy wheels on this car are in superb condition and the interior has been really well cared for. This is a wonderful car to drive; The tone of the engine is superb and the vehicle is very smooth and responsive. This model in black has a '007' appearance and the condition of the car is amazing, for its year. Anyone seeking an XKR to enjoy now and potentially also maintain towards a future classic car, would do well to consider this one, as with good care sensible use and ideally, garaging, this particular car should last really well and prove to be a brilliant long term investment as well as a pleasure to use in the interim. The transmission is very smooth and given the careful servicing approach adoted, the engine should be good for many more thousands of miles, especially with these V8 5L engines and given significant motorway use and careful servicing, the mileage value should not be a concern. The car has not been driven hard and many of the miles have involved motorway driving where engine wear tends to be minimal, due to steady low revs while cruising. (Most engine wear in internal combustion engines, arises at start up and stopping: two mistakes people make are to rev the engine prematurely before oil pressure is up and to rev the engine just prior to switch off, which can be harmful to critical lubrication.) This vehicle has been treated with great care and respect for the engine and transmission. All in all, this is a very classy vehicle and a pleasure to drive.
