Description
Look, somehow Citroën have decided they’re designers now. I don’t know when that happened, but here we are. The e-C3? Genuinely quite funky. It’s like they’ve gone, “What if we made a small car… but actually gave it a personality?” Madness.
It’s compact, yeah—but you get inside and it’s weirdly spacious. So whether you’re doing proper grown-up stuff like food shopping or pretending you’ve got your life together, it’ll handle it. And they’ve chucked in all these little details—tabs on the doors, some sort of Paris skyline thing round the windows—like it’s trying to impress you on a first date. And honestly… it sort of works.
If you’re bored of cars that look like they’ve been designed by someone who hates joy, this is a decent shout. It’s not just a sad grey box. Which, let’s be honest, is already a win.
Spec-wise, for an entry-level car, it’s doing alright. You’ve got Bluetooth, air con, a touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, nice alloys… I could list more, but I won’t, because I respect your time. Slightly.
It’s only had one owner, came through Motability, and it’s so new it hasn’t even needed a service yet. That’s not a car, that’s basically a baby. Plus, it’s under warranty until 2028, which is ages away. You’re basically getting a new car without the “why did I just spend all my money” panic.
And yeah, it’s electric. I know—someone down the pub has already told you it’ll ruin your life. Ignore Dave. You’ll get over 200 miles on a full charge. Be honest—when was the last time you drove 200 miles in one go? Exactly.
And if you do, there are chargers everywhere now. Slow ones, fast ones, stupidly fast ones… it’s like Pokémon, you just collect them as you go. I drive electric myself—never thought I’d say that—and it’s actually fine. Better than fine, annoyingly.
So yeah… a car with a bit of character, doesn’t cost the earth, and won’t make you hate yourself every time you look at it. Not bad, to be fair.
