2007 Mark 5 VW GOLF 1.6 FSI offered for sale: 'Match' Trim level, manual gearbox, Petrol, 5-Door, Six gears, Metallic Black colour, alloy wheels. All original. Non-smoker vehicle. Only two owners from new to date. Two keys. Original VW Owners manual. All MOT's. MOT Expiry 17/12/2026. Owned for the last sixteen years (purchased 13/02/2010) Genuine reason for sale. Superb to drive. Reliable car. Fine example of this model: very good condition internally and externally for the year - very clean. Please examine the photos carefully for vehicle condition. Only things worthy of mention to prospective buyers to avoid wasting anyone's time are a little rust displayed on both front wheel arches (see photos) - not structural, NOT MOT issue, just cosmetic (easy to sort if wanted - I never felt the need). Apparently a very common issue with the original Mark 5 wheel arches due to foam on the inside that would hold moisture. Other issue is wear at the side of the driver's seat (as per the photos). Seat fabric is a bit worn only in this location from use but not torn or split. To be expected. All other seats and trim throughout is in excellent condition not showing any wear whatsoever. Lots of money spent over recent years and months (approximately 2,200) New EGR Valve professionally fitted Feb 2026. Receipts to prove. Genuinely offered for sale without any known mechanical or electrical issues - all currently good. It's been a brilliant car for us. Always well looked after, no expense spared, never abused. Serviced annually and well maintained regularly throughout ownership. Was SORN'd off road from April 2025 to December 2025, when it was returned to road as little used second vehicle, prior to sale.
