Mazda MX5 - 2.0 Sport model with just 62,000 miles on the clock. I bought the car from an MX5 specialist near Manchester, who themselves had previously sold the car, and bought it back 5 years later from the same local customer and car enthusiast. It's a really nice example, finished in 'Brilliant Black' with a black soft top roof, which works perfectly, with no tears or leaks. The interior features matching black leather and the all important heated seats. The maintenance record shows 6 services including a full major service carried out at 57,000 miles, where the long-life iridium spark plugs were also replaced. All four alloy wheels were freshly refurbished at this time (November 25) with new front wishbones fitted and four wheel laser alignment carried out. During my ownership, I have kept the car really nice, and she lives under my car port. I arranged for the engine thermostat to be changed, along with the gearbox and differential fluid. The car drives absolutely without fault, with a low clutch biting point (it has obviously been changed recently) with strong brakes, pin sharp steering and the engine pulls, revs and performs perfectly. As this is the 2.0 sport, it benefits from a closer ratio 6 speed box, Bilstein suspension, bigger wheels and brakes and a Limited Slip Differential. The car wants for nothing, everything works and most importantly - it drives exactly as a mint wee MX5 should. There are of course some age related marks, but surprisingly few. There is no rust visible anywhere, and all the arches and sills are solid. I arranged for the underside, wheel arches and any other known "water traps" to be wax treated before the winter. The car comes with the original owners manual, 2 keys and is fully UK ULEZ compatible. Original Number Plate - YC06 MZY -was taken off the car some time ago and replaced with WH05 ARH, which will be included in the sale. In my ownership, I had my personal plate on the car A16 DVC - which was removed last week back to WH05 ARH. Thanks for looking.
