I bought this in Sept 2023 after looking for 12 months for an Automatic Cabby as the Auto's are very rare with one only 6 remaining on the road in Cabriolet form . 1994 M reg Rover 216 SE Cabriolet 1. 6 DOHC Honda engine 120bhp with 4 speed automatic Transmission (proper auto gearbox not a CvT later type 91k but will go up slightly as doing shows with it , MOT'ed till 30th Sept 2026 , Being a SE it come with full electric roof , electric Ariel , Full cream Leather and wind break . servicing has been done by myself but anything else done at a friends garage . Not long after buying it I sent it to a ex Rover approved Bodyshop in St Annes for a bit of titivating were it ended up have new rear arches and new front wings along with a full respray , also replaced the cracked vinyl roof with a new mohair roof and frame costing 1000 . 16/ 11/ 24 89, 956 miles new battery / rear calipers / rear discs and pads Feb 2025 90, 069 miles Cambelt / aux belt / coolant radiator / auto gearbox coolant pipes / mid section exhaust/ new sump and gasket / inner CV boots and auto gearbox fluid replaced with genuine Honda fluid . April 25 - front discs and pads This is a very clean Rare auto cabriolet probably the cleanest in the uk but does have its quirks Electric Ariel was broken when I bought it so I've fitted a new it just needs wiring in .
