Toyota Avensis T-Spirit estate, 2008, petrol automatic, with 80,000 miles. For sale, my beloved Toyota Avensis, reluctantly selling due to a change in family circumstances. This is the T-Spirit, so it's the highest-spec version of the Avensis from this generation. This means it comes with all the extras Toyota offered at the time: supremely comfortable leather seats, cruise control, parking sensors, climate control, a great factory stereo (although this has been replaced with an aftermarket Bluetooth radio and cubby hole, the original is still available and will come with the car), and a generally more finished feel inside compared to the lower trims. It's comfortable and properly well put together in that typical Toyota way where everything just works - will outlast us all. Once connected, turning the radio on will automatically connect to the last device to play music. The car will come with a phone holder, but not the dashcam in the pictures. As a petrol automatic, it's extremely easy to live with. The gearbox is smooth and it shifts as it should. The engine pulls cleanly and quietly, and it still feels solid and smooth on the road. A very nice car to cruise in, or just to pop to the shops. Mileage is low for the age at around 80,000- it's been used but not heavily, and it shows in how it drives. It starts without hesitation, runs smoothly, and doesn't have any obvious issues or warning lights. Being an estate, the boot is absolutely enormous and very practical you can fit loads in there, whether it's luggage, tools, or shopping. Or perhaps you need to move a mattress? A pinball machine? A coffin, with space for flowers? A dozen suitcases? A wallaby, or an orangutan? Bicycles or mobility scooters? Life-size bronze statue? Small to medium sized deer? This car will do it all. (Please note - none of these animals have been present in this car, and the car is also smoke free). Cosmetically it's in mostly good condition for its age. There are a few age-related marks here and there, as you'd expect from a car from 2008, but nothing that affects how it drives or its overall presentation. It's ULEZ compliant, comes with lots of paperwork, original manuals and leather folder etc. A great car for anyone wanting a comfortable, smooth, bulletproof estate capable of hauling almost anything.
