I have owned this car for just over and selling as I just haven't used it as much as I thought I would need to. This car is actually a Lexus but was registered with DVLA as a Toyota Land Cruiser when imported back in 1999. The service history is complete up until 106,000 miles when it was first sold. Service history from then is incomplete until I had it serviced in February 2025. Since then I've done about 1,800 miles in it. It drives very well with no mechanical issues but there are age-related signs of wear and tear elsewhere. The sills are corroded on both sides, but not sufficiently bad to affect the MOT (January this year). I have included photos of this. The chassis is solid. The paint lacquer has deteriorated and there are rust spots dotted about the bodywork. The passenger side electric window does not work. I believe I have reflected these in the price. There will be a mileage discrepancy that is apparent. I have a receipt for an odometer recalibration that took place in 2018 before my ownership. I have followed up with the garage that did this and according to their records the owner at the time had replaced the odometer/speedo unit (which had failed) with a used part which had retained the mileage reading from the donor vehicle. The adjustment was made to bring the mileage back in line with the original vehicle that is now being listed. When you look at the mileage charts over the years this does seem a reasonable explanation. As those of you looking at this will know, the vehicle is a great workhouse for those looking to tow but aren't too fussy about looks.
