Porsche 911 Carrera 2 997 Tiptronic Fantastic car and true head-turner! The good and great: - Solid engine, regularly serviced every year with Porsche recommended oil and filters. I have owned for past 4yrs and it has never missed a beat. - MOT'd until January 2027 - Cheaper tax due to pre-2006 registered (-half the cost each year!) - New Stainless Steel exhaust back boxes - sounds sporty. - New alternator. - New engine mounts. - Carrera S wheels, black. - Carrera S brakes with yellow callipers. - Carrera S twin exhaust tips, black. - Heated seats. - Pioneer touch screen head unit with Apple / Android CarPlay. - Bose speakers. - Tiptronic gearbox. - LED headlight bulbs - 997.2 front conversion. - Later engine so no IMS issues. - 3.6 engine so no worries about borescore - the 3.8 engines seem to be worse for this. - K&N air filter. - Black car but wrapped in a lovely white - looks fantastic in the sun! - There is probably a lot more, I'm sure! The less good, if being picky: - Driver's door lock (external only) needs mechanical rod replacing but works fine from the inside - One key - Some scuffs and marks due to ages but does not detract from the beauty of the car. - Cat car due to just cosmetic damage at the front which was fully repaired before my ownership and upgraded to 997.2 wirh working OEM LED DRLs! - Has lots of history and documents but not complete - the quality of the car and the engine shows it has clearly been looked after throughout its life. Selling as changed job and sadly need more of a commuter workhorse now. Might sell with new Porsche diagnostics tool and some other Porsche merch if the price is right.
