2012 Alfa Romeo Giulietta 1.4 TB Turismo Hatchback 5dr | Petrol | Manual | Euro 5 | 120bhp | ML62ULB |
Selling my Giulietta after a good few years of ownership. I've always tried to look after it mechanically and it drives brilliantly smooth, responsive, and everything under the bonnet is in great shape. It's passed its MOTs without any mechanical drama and is genuinely a pleasure to drive. I'm being upfront about everything because I'd rather the right buyer find it than waste anyone's time.
At just under 70,000 miles, it's sitting well below average for its age 17,000 miles below average according to AutoTrader's own data which tells you it hasn't been hammered.
The good stuff: mechanically sound throughout, drives as it should, no warning lights, no funny noises, no nasty surprises under the bonnet.
Now the honest bit there are a few cosmetic and minor functional things I want to be transparent about:
There's a dent on the driver's side roof arch. It's not huge, but it's there and I've got photos so you can see exactly what you're dealing with before making the trip.
The rear screen wiper has a known alfa quirk where the timer can occasionally fail, meaning the blade sometimes comes to rest in a random position rather than its proper parked spot. It still works it just doesn't always tuck itself away neatly, I've been told this is a cheap fix but haven't gotten around to it.
The rear door handles can sometimes feel stiff, particularly in colder weather. This is a known characteristic of the Giulietta's hidden handle design, so if you've owned one before you'll likely be familiar with it. Again I've been told this is a cheap fix and likely a bit of WD is your friend but they've always opened fine.
The car comes with two keys***. The original was lost during Covid, and a replacement was cut and programmed at the time by a trusted local locksmith. That key has developed a loose blade within its casing over time but would serve well as a backup still (so technically two keys), so ahead of this sale I had a brand new key cut and programmed by the same locksmith on 20th April 2026.
One other thing, does not come with locking wheel nut, I had the bolts on the wheels replaced with standard fittings so no issue for tire changes.
I've got photos covering the cosmetic faults so there are no surprises when you come to view.
Viewing very much welcomed and encouraged. Serious buyers only please. Happy to answer any questions.
