Description
Reluctantly selling my Honda S2000 with only 37,860 miles on the clock. Having purchased a campervan, I've found myself using the S2000 less and can't justify keeping it when I'm mostly away over weekends.
When I was looking for an S2000 to purchase in 2023, I viewed a number of examples before this one - the car was owner by a lovely chap who had moved from Guernsey to Bournemouth and had owned the car (second owner), since 2011, bringing the car back over with him.
The car is finished in Royal Navy Blue Pearl with matching roof. I've just had a couple of seat panels replaced by Brian Thomas AutoTrim, due to slight tears / cracking that were present. Brian also retrimed the arm rest and rebuilt the partially collapsed side bolsters where they had worn down over the years, so the interior now looks in amazing condition and the seats really hold you in place.
The only modification I've done to the car is to add an aux input to the back of the standard head unit which is plugged into a wireless bluetooth dongle, allowing music streaming through your phone. At the same time, I fitted Pioneer G-Series TS-G1320F speakers in the door cards (providing 35W RMS, as opposed to the original speakers which provided only 20W RMS), as the original speakers had failed causing distortion - music now sounds brilliant, whilst keeping the look of the car completely original.
The underside of the car, with its low milage and having been garaged for most of its life, is also in fantastic condition - there are no references to corrosion on the MOT history, with the only points listed either tyres or brakes. I've had both rear callipers replaced and had new front pads and discs fitted in 2025, as well as a new Bosch battery in 2024.
I've also just had an oil & filter service done at the same time as the MOT (on 37,640 miles) and a new air filter just before that.
I've put together two spreadsheets in order to keep track of servicing (as you do when it's your dream car!), one for service history over the years (put together by sifting through the service history provided with the car) and another a service schedule, to help make it clear when serviceable items are next due - when I initially bought the car, on just over 31,000 miles, I had 4x Uniroyal Rainsport 5 performance tyres fitted as well as a major service done (detailed in spreadsheet).
Any questions or if you would like to come and view the car, please give me a call or drop me a message.
