Description
For sale is my fathers 2007 Mercedes SLK 350. This has a v6 engine and comes complete with the AMG Optional trim (AMG wheels, spoiler, trim) as well as the "Designo" interior. The car has a folding hard top which functions reliably. This is a very rare 6 speed manual, making it a great driver's car rain or shine. It has just passed its mot so will come with (virtually - April) a full years test, has a full service history, has had just a few owners and has a large folder of past work done.
Outside the car is finished in a very light blue/silver metallic, this is mostly in good condition with very few dents, scuffs, scratches etc and is well waxed. The AMG wheels are in fair condition (see images) with some small curb marks in places but still presentable in my opinion, behind these are large silver brakes at the front with drilled disks.
Inside the car has full leather designo interior with leather dark blue and black seats, door cards, wheel and gearstick. It has airscarf, heated seats, CD/radio with great sound quality and sat nav, wheel controls etc. The interior is in very good condition for the age and miles (see images).
The engine runs well and reliably and has given very little trouble during my fathers ownership, sounds subtle but fantastic and gives strong smooth power. The gearbox is very rare in manual 6 speed and selects all gears well. The car has a full service history and large folder of prior work and in the last year has had the diff and gearbox oil replaced. It has 2 key fobs.
The bad: Slight bubble of rust on one wing and imperfect repair on the other - presentable but not perfect, but for the age this is minor and a common issue with this car. Fog light smashed lens. AC does not work. Drivers heated seat and air scarf does not work. ESP, coolant & washer level, esp and brake wear errors come up on starting (no lights on - just on the screen). But these levels are fine, brakes are fairly new, and esp (traction control) appears to function fine so not sure if this is just a glitch. Slight clunk on pot holes from front - perhaps a bush? Split low down on the bumper.
I have listed the above faults as don't want to waste anyone's time, given the age and price I don't think this list is bad, what you get is a usable, presentable, head turning V6 drop top sports car just before summer ready to enjoy! My father is selling as he has just bought a classic Jaguar. Located in Stoke On Trent. Private sale sold as seen
