Description

Viewings after 7pm only on week days, any time on weekends. FSH, MOT till March 2027. Recently serviced. The car is tidy inside, from smoke-free/pet-free household. Towbar fitted; Comes with full-size spare wheel; The car is very practical (a small estate so good sized boot) and economical (57 mpg in winter), and cheap road tax 30 pounds. The car is good to learn to drive: great visibility, clutch & gear box work smoothly, it is not too wide and not too long, diesel engine is reluctant to stall, and it is cheap. The price is set low so no bargaining please. The reasons for the low asking price: three tyres have 2.5 mm tread left (and one tyre is new and a decent one); and the car still runs on the original exhaust, original turbo and original clutch. The clutch works fine though. There was a leak in the front exhaust pipe and rear exhaust silencer, which I sealed with the exhaust repair putty, and they did not even comment on that at MOT; The car has been well looked after in my ownership. I am the 3rd owner, owned it since October 2019. I have been mostly doing the maintenance and servicing myself, and I keep the logbook of all the jobs done. The summary will be provided to the new owner. The car Service Book has the records of all servicing jobs including those done myself. The car always starts in half a crank, it has been very reliable. Mostly because I catch any potential issue at early stage and do preventive repairs. Here is the list of main repairs starting with the most recent ones: A new tensioner fitted for the auxiliary belt; A new windscreen; A new battery fitted just over a year ago; Timing belt and water pump replaced a year ago; Brake & clutch fluid changed every 2 years; Gear oil changed every ~ 40k miles; Both handbrake cables and the front brake pads replaced 2 years ago; Rear brakes were fully refurbished in 2022; In 2021, I replaced the wiring looms and door locks in both front doors. This list can go on and on :) I have lots of quality spare parts for this car worth 800 pounds, you can have all of them for extra 200 pounds. Few cosmetic things to mention (if anyone cares given the age, mileage and the cost of the car): One rear seat on the passenger side has its cover ripped, it did not bother me; There is a scratch on the front bumper on the passenger side; There is some wear on the backrest of the driver's seat; In 2023 there was some welding done to the sill under the driver's door, and now some rust started to appear there.
