Description

The best car I've ever had! She came into my life on Saturday 23rd Sept 2000 brand new and I've been blessed with her everday! She is a wonderful low milage car in very very good condition as the photos will show. She drives so smoothly for a 3.2 V6 with a 5 Speed Automatic Transmission plus Tiptronic for manual gear change, Cruise Control, Air Conditioning, Leather upholstery, Electrically adjustable Heated Seats. She does have a stone chip on the passager side of the front windowscreen which has been filled and has never failed an MOT, otherwise I would of got a new screen. There is a small littlebit of rust in the top rear window area, see photo, makes it look worse than it is, a stone chip or two, very small, but otherwise for a car her age on these roads, she has a beautiful body. With the roof up or the roof down, she is perfect to drive and I will miss her dearly. Please come take a look, have a drive and hopefully fall in love with her for the next 20 plus years as I have done, you'll be glad you did. Disclosure: When my car was park at the Broadstone Leisure Centre in Dec 2018 a VW Van drove into the back of her. I only know this as when my wife and I were walking back to our car two employee's of the leisure centre said they had heard a smash and saw a van driving off and said it hit a Mercedes. Well my heart sank and they didn't' get the licence plate and there was no cctv! But when we got to the car she looked fine, until I tried to open the boot. So the van had damaged the rear bumper straight on and the roof mechanism contained within the bumper, but that was it. Foolishly I went through my Insurance company, they paid for the damage, but what wasn't made clear to me is that it would go down as a written off Cat S which indicates structural damage that is repairable. I used the insurance money to get it professionally repaired by Feb 2019 and she has been Perfect and the roof has been up and down over the last 7+years without any issues, but I should of just got it repaired without the insurance. That's why she is cheaper than she should be, but she is still pretty perfect and in full working order. I thought it's best to be clear about this. Photo of work invoice enclosed.
