2009 Mazda MX5 1.8 SE in Metropolitan Grey Metallic. MOT until 12-04-2027. Mileage 67000. Owned since August 2023 since which i have carried out 3 engine oil changes, a gearbox oil change and a rear differential oil change in less that 8000 miles also replacing all brake pads less than 6000 miles ago. 4 good tyres. Bodywork is in very good condition with a few paint chips as would be expected on a car of this age. Both front lower suspension arms and bolts replaced at recent MOT to deal with the advisory about worn bushes. Two rear springs replaced in 2024. The car completed a 1300 mile trip around Scotland in July 2024 including the North Coast 500 without a problem with the top down which can be lowered and raised by hand in seconds. The MX5 is legendary for its reliability and i believe this is a good example which has never let me down. The car has always been garaged during my ownership and the only reason for sale is that another bigger sportscar has arrived and my wife unfortunately won't let me keep two. All the electricals such as adjustable mirrors , heated rear glass screen and Radio work as they should and the car has had a handsfree blue tooth phone connection installed prior to my ownership which is working. The car has 17 inch alloys, rather than the factory standard 16 inch ones, which i fitted when i bought the car because it had 18 inch wheels fitted which i found to be too low profile. Unfortunately some of the alloys have been scuffed but could be refurbished although they are perfectly serviceable. I don't think the car will be here for long once someone sees it.
