It has covered around 171,528 miles and has been a practical, reliable runaround for me over the last year. It starts, drives and stops as it should, and overall it drives OK for its age and mileage. It has a long MOT until 22 October 2026. This is a Cat C insurance write-off, fully disclosed. The accident was recorded in 2010, so around 16 years ago, and the car has clearly been back on the road and in use for many years since. History report available for buyer to view. If you pull it fully up, it sometimes drops back down, so it needs closing in small increments. Idle is a little rough. Garage advised a fuel filter may help, but I have not had this done. The A/C is not working. I was told the system is blocked and it cannot simply be filled with gas without cleaning the system first. There is a small plate/heat shield underneath near the exhaust that is bent down. It can touch the road on higher speed bumps and likely just needs bending or securing back up. Brake pads may need doing before or around the next MOT. Age-related scratches, scuffs and marks around the bodywork, shown honestly in the photos. This is not a perfect car, but it is an honest, usable Focus with a long MOT. Ideal as a cheap runaround, work car, first car for someone comfortable with Cat C history, or a practical spare car.
