Ford Mondeo - High Specification, Excellent Condition, Extensive Maintenance Selling my Ford Mondeo only because I have bought a newer car and now have two other vehicles, so I can no longer justify keeping it. I have owned the car for the last couple of years and bought it specifically for comfortable motorway driving. It has been a superb car: smooth, spacious, economical, and ideal for long journeys. It starts, runs and drives extremely well, with no known mechanical issues. There are no knocks, bangs or vibrations, and it feels far better than most Mondeos I tested of a similar age. When I purchased the car, I invested a significant amount of time and money bringing it up to a very high standard and addressing any issues it had. High specification includes: Full leather interior Heated and cooled seats Adaptive headlights Quickclear heated windscreen Radar/adaptive cruise control Parking sensors Hill Start Assist Rain-sensing wipers Climate control Keyless start Fully refurbished 18-inch alloy wheels Recent work and upgrades include: ECU upgrade Timing belt and water pump replaced Replacement glow plugs Air conditioning re-gassed Paintwork correction New badges New OEM mats LED headlights New clutch master cylinder Replacement brakes Extensive suspension refresh, including bushes, springs, control arms, anti-roll bar links, track rod ends, shock absorbers, front suspension arms and tie rods The car is very comfortable on the motorway, especially using the adaptive cruise control, and has a huge amount of interior and boot space. Until recently, it was used daily and has always performed reliably. The original factory Audio/Nav unit is currently fitted. I previously upgraded it with an Android head unit designed specifically for this model, giving Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, wireless connectivity, improved sound and app support. The unit also supports a 360-degree camera system, although this was never fitted. I have removed the Android unit to sell separately, but I am happy to negotiate including it and the related extras with the car. This is a very well-sorted, high-spec Mondeo that has clearly been looked after and had a lot of the common age-related work already completed. Reluctant to let it go, but I simply do not need three cars.
