VW Scirrocco. The car was a customers car that had a faulty automatic gearbox last year. A brand new gearbox was fitted at a cost of 5,500 pounds. The car was brought in for a service and to have a look at a fault the car wasn't running good. Subsequently the fault was found to be piston rings snapped. The car was going to be scrapped off by the customer so I bought it and repaired the car. The engine was fully rebuilt new piston , rings shells timing chain sprockets. New head gasket,water pump, and a new turbo.The clock is showing 83,000 miles however it's not covered 100 miles since the engine was overhauled and rebuilt. The car was too nice to scrap off but as the customer had spent 5,500 on a gearbox they decided it was the correct time to get rid of the car and buy a newer car.
