Ziggy is offered here in a lovely shade of metallic blue that really sparkles in the sunshine, she's clean and dependable with moderate mileage for her age. We bought her as a temporary car while our Citroen was off the road, but lovely as she is, we need to let her go. MOT runs until April 2027, and with us being only the third owners you can really feel that she's been well maintained for her 19yrs, (Gates dealer stamps until March 2020!) she is due a service though and would benefit from a set of glow plugs in my opinion. Outside she has some battle scars, the worst being on the passenger side where it looks like she's been reversed into by a careless driver?! That being said, all but the driver's mirror are completely unnoticeable from inside the car ;) The 18" wheels look cool but could do with a refurb - the tyres are decent with two at 5mm and two at 3mm tread depth. Inside is lovely with twin sunroofs making cabin light and airy. The half leather seats are supportive, comfortable and showing little wear. The aircon is cold and strong, with easy controls that put modern touch screens to shame. Windows and mirrors are fully functional and fully electric. The heated front screen works brilliantly to demist (and probably to defrost). We assume the radio works, we don't have the code and haven't owned her long enough to bother. The rear seats adjust and fold flat individually, the boot is spacious and includes a pair of seats to make this a true 7 seater. On the road the drive is good, the suspension is supple and handling is direct. The engine is strong and returned nearly 50mpg on a recent run to Hunstanton. The only niggle is an annoying squeak from the right hand rear suspension that comes and goes - everything looks okay and it doesn't affect the feel or handling, she needed a bush on that side for the MOT so we think it's just bedding in? Overall she's a great car, not perfect but has a good few years of service left in her yet. The price is only negotiable in person, 'will you take' and lowball offers won't be accepted.
