I have owned this car for 6 1/2 years, it has been very reliable, cheap to run and easy to maintain. Of the 87,500 miles, I have done approx. 40,000. The car has been very well looked after and run on premium unleaded fuel only, although standard unleaded is suitable. The interior is very good condition and has never been smoked in during my ownership. I have always serviced this car myself and have a stack of invoices from parts suppliers. I have not stamped the service book, but the car has been serviced more regularly than the standard service interval. A K&N premium lifetime air filter is fitted. I have a digital copy of a service manual which I can provide. I fitted a Yuasa battery and it is in warranty until January 2028. The car had brand new Monroe front shock absorbers with springs, drop links and track rod ends in the last few months along with front wheel alignment. The i20 commonly suffers from rust underneath the back window on the tailgate. I replaced the tailgate with a blue one (blue ones seemed to suffer less than other colours) and painted it myself. The car is 17 years old and has some age-related marks. The 'Comfort' model benefits from alloy wheels, rear electric windows and electric folding mirrors.
