Much-loved TDI which has served us brilliantly for years. It has had only two owners in the family: first my parents, then me and my wife. It runs very well, drives nicely, and has plenty of power surprisingly quick thanks to the TDI engine. The car has been reliable and enjoyable to own, but I want to be upfront that it does have a known water ingress issue, likely around the rear lights, which can cause dampness in the footwell. I have tried to get this looked at locally, but garages near me have not wanted to take it on. From what I understand, it is a known issue with this model and may be a straightforward fix for someone familiar with it. Aside from that, it is a great car and still drives really well. It would suit someone looking for a solid, economical, quick diesel who is happy to sort the leak. Genuine reason for sale. We have loved this car and will be sad to see it go.
