Description
SPARES OR REPAIRS.
Will not start. Engine cut out with warning light. Diagnosed as fuel pressure too high. Fuel pressure regulator replaced, to no avail. Next step would be to replace high-pressure fuel pump (HPFP) and fuel rail (which includes a sensor, I'm told). However, the HPFP is no longer available as a part, and would need to be reconditioned. Garage quoted about 1,750 to do this, with some but not absolute confidence it would sort it.
Viewing would need to be at the garage, and collection probably on a low-loader. CV47 2FE
