I originally purchased this Korando new in 1997. It was an ex-demonstrator from our local SsangYong dealer. In 2020 I transferred ownership to my son at around 18k miles. Mileage is now 68K and the car has been in our family since new. As a family we are committed fans of the SsangYong brand. SsangYongs have proven to be robust and super-reliable as well as great value for money. Personally I now own a 2019 Korando Ultimate. Within our extended family there are 3 happy owners of 3 SsangYong Tivolis. I am retired and with time on my side I am selling the car on behalf of my son. For sale is our 2.2L Diesel Automatic LE model in metallic green with grey cloth interior. The bodywork is in excellent condition as is the interior. It drives very well returning well over 40 mpg on a run and around 35 mpg typically driven locally. Tyres are all in good condition. It has been serviced regularly as per the manufacturers advised schedule. The last oil and filters service was Sept 2025 which was at the time of the last MOT. I asked my son to take care of the Service Book at all costs so he kept it at home indoors - and now sadly he cannot find it so - sorry so far no service book! The search will continue! However there are the original user manuals and MOT history. There are 2 ignition keys. The MOT had only 4 months remaining so we felt it would increase buyer confidence if we submitted the car for a new MOT. It sailed through the MOT on April 29th without any advisories and will be sold now with a 12 month MOT. The spare wheel, jack and brace remains unused in the boot. The car is fitted with a tow bar and 13-pin electrics for a Witter ZX502 bike carrier which is included in the sale should the buyer want it. My son now needs a bigger car because of recent additions to his family also resulting in no further need for his bike carrier. We believe we have priced the car to sell - so please - no time wasters.
