Description
Le Mans Green MG TF 135 1.8cc for sale
I've had this car for 5 years and have added approximately 13000 miles during that time, and have thoroughly enjoyed it including taking in some spectacular trips to and around Scotland , and it continued to prove to be incredibly reliable car which can do the long tour journeys as well as fun days out.
Ive used it frequently but generally for low miles, clocking on average 2500 a year.
Just MOT'd so runs until 22 April 2027
I've spent a fair bit on it over the years and have all my bills and some from before. Recent new rear tires , front had been done some time ago but only travelled c5000 miles plenty of tread. Good but old full size spare.
Discs , pads and callipers done in past 2 years.
I have regularly serviced the car by annually, but last done about 2500 miles back. Receipts for all work I've had done. Older history too with vehicle.
I had Head gasket replaced soon after I purchase and so this important work undertaken during my ownership (with receipt) and was undertaken by MG specialist at c65k miles.
It has a Good hood clean with rear glass rather than vinyl which has rear heating and it works. There is a leather(ette) Hood cover which tidies away the hood.
Everything works as it should.
Imperfections :-
Car is 23 years old and is not pristine, so there are areas with treatable bubbling rust such as around arches. Alloys need some refurbishment, although the discs and pads and callipers were replaced there is a slight rubbing sound from the offside rear wheel. I had the calipers done due to one seizing and it was after that the rubbing, but mechanics couldn't identify the issue precisely and it eases off after a few miles of driving.
The car has been dry stored in a garage in winter, then stands under my parents car port in spring/summer and early autumn.
There are 2 sets of keys , and immobiliser buttons work on both sets. It's been surprisingly low to insure (I guess the low mileage partly that I cover), car tax is around 385/annum or 30 ish a month
Runs well, with an interior good for age.
I believe it's priced fairly to sell, and would benefit from going to someone who wants to deal with minor bodywork but have a completely reliable car.
Can be viewed and driven in Rugby CV21
(NOTE - I also have a black hardtop that I'm not showing in photos. I'd add this in if full asking is paid)
