Description

KEY ENHANCEMENTS/UPGRADES: - Adjustable Nitron street series suspension - Hanger 111 ECU reflash for 5700rmp cam switch instead of 6200rmp - Incredibly rare Lotus Sport lightweight forged alloy wheels (fitted as standard on limited edition Exige 240R) - 2Bular GT3 sports exhaust - Rear panel delete kit for more aggressive motorsport look - Momo suede steering wheel (horn placement on original wheel is terrible- right where your thumbs rest!) - Professionally fitted touch screen stereo with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto - HVAC panel repaired so illuminates properly (most are dead by now) KEY FEATURES: These 2006 onwards models, the R, got improvements that a lot of people don't know about. It's why I personally sought out an R over a 111R: - Probax sports seats in leather (more comfortable, better design) - Improved pedal box dimensions specifically designed to make "heel and toe" easier - Super touring pack includes WAY nicer dash design and layout, airbags, stop/start button, trinket tray divider, cup holder, embroidered carpet mats, leather gear knob and handbrake gaiter - Full carpet set and insulated panelling - Front driving lamps (not fogs) - Air con blowing cold - Traction control switchable button either on or off LAST YEAR: - Professional geo done by Lotus specialist, PJS Sports Cars - 4 brand new tyres Yokohama V105 (Lotus recommended) OVERVIEW: - Powered by the reliable 1.8 litre VVTL-i Toyota engine producing 189bhp and 0-60mph in 4.9 seconds - Magnetic blue paint with vinyl strips (apparently originally fitted) - Stacks of paper work, 2 keys, ALL ORIGINAL BITS INCLUDED - Barely used soft top plus indoor car cover - 3 previous owners (last owner for 14 years) - MOT and minor service booked for later this month with Lotus specialist - Number plate not included - Everything works, but stone chips and the odd mark is to be expected of this age - Only real negative is front clam has small crack, see photo (I bought it like this and it's never bothered me) and hardtop headlining sagging a bit which is common now they're of this age House purchase AND about to become a Father both later this year forces sale so the weekend toy has gotta go unfortunately.
